SubClik Printer Agent
Download the printer agent.
For Windows 10, 11 and Windows Server · version 1.1.237. Install it once at the customer's site: meter readings arrive every day, and jams and error codes within a minute.
For SubClik customers
Sign in with your firm’s office or engineer account and the download starts. An engineer at the customer’s site can sign in on that computer, download Setup and pair it with the code from the office.
Install in three steps
- Step 1
Run Setup on a computer that stays on.
The office PC or a server in the same network as the printers. Setup asks for administrator rights once and installs the agent as a Windows service.
- Step 2
Enter the pairing code.
Create the code in your portal under Printers & agents, for the customer and site. The agent window opens after the installation.
- Step 3
Check the networks and scan.
The agent shows this computer's networks; add other VLANs or single printer addresses if needed. Printers with a serial number you have on record are linked to their machines automatically.
Good to know
- Works in the background
- A Windows service: starts with the computer, runs when nobody is signed in and restarts itself after a fault. The icon by the clock shows its state.
- Reads, never changes
- SNMP v1/v2c or secure, encrypted SNMPv3 reads of meters, toner, parts, trays and errors from Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Canon, Sharp, Xerox, HP, Brother, Lexmark and other network printers.
- Watches every minute
- Paper jams, error and service codes, doors open, toner low and memory errors reach your portal within about a minute; meters are read once a day.
- Outbound only
- Sends to your portal over HTTPS (port 443). Nothing connects into the customer's network; printers are read on UDP 161.
- Keeps readings safe
- A day's meters that cannot be sent (internet down) are kept and sent later with their own date.
