Automation
Let the printers start the routine work.
When a monitored copier reports a fault, SubClik opens the service job before the customer picks up the phone. Toner that is about to run out is listed for sending, and your engineer sees what fixed the same error code last time.

Never two open jobs for the same machine.
Service jobs that open themselves.
Link a monitored printer to the machine on your records and choose what should start a job: service and error codes such as SC542 or C-2557, memory errors, or repeated paper jams above a number you set, for example five or more in seven days.
The job opens on its own with the machine, the customer and the code already filled in. It takes the priority you chose and goes to the engineer from your rule, or waits on the service desk for the office to assign. There is never more than one open job for a machine at a time, so a printer that keeps reporting the same fault does not flood the desk.
Send toner before the customer runs out.
From each printer’s daily toner levels SubClik works out when every cartridge will be empty. The Toner to send list shows the ones running out in the next three weeks, soonest first.
Record what you sent and when, with a note such as the tracking number. If you like, the customer gets a short “toner is on its way” email. Toner you have already sent stays marked, so nobody sends the same cartridge twice.
The cartridge leaves your warehouse stock as it is recorded, and the warehouse restock writes draft orders to your suppliers from the same forecast, ready to check and email from SubClik.

What fixed this before.
On a job with an error code, SubClik shows the earlier jobs in your firm that fixed the same code: what the engineer found, the fix code they recorded and the parts they used.
The engineer can check it before setting off and take the right part in the van, so more faults are fixed on the first visit instead of the second.

What it changes for your firm
Faults found first
You know about a stopped copier before the customer rings, and can tell them an engineer is already booked.
Fewer return visits
Engineers see the fixes and parts that worked before, so they arrive with the right part.
No emergency toner runs
Cartridges are sent days before they run out, not after the customer has stopped printing.
Less typing for the office
Jobs arrive with machine, customer and code filled in. The office checks and plans instead of logging.
How it works
- Step 1
The SubClik Agent at the customer’s site watches every printer and reports a problem within a minute.
- Step 2
If the problem matches your rule, a job opens for that machine with your priority and engineer.
- Step 3
The engineer sees the job on the phone, with what fixed the same code before.
- Step 4
Meanwhile the toner list shows what to post this week; record it as sent and the customer can be emailed.
Automation works with printers monitored by the SubClik Agent and linked to machines on your records. What a printer reports depends on the make and model. Read more about printer monitoring.
