SubClik vs Joblogic

SubClik vs Joblogic for copier and printer dealers.

Joblogic is an established field service system for many trades. SubClik is built for one: photocopier and printer service, where meters, toner and error codes drive the work. Here is how they compare, fairly.

Comparison checked from public information; tell us if something has changed.

At a glance

Both run a service desk, an engineer app, quotes, invoices and a customer portal. The difference is focus: Joblogic covers more trades and has more general field service tools, while SubClik reads your customers’ printers and turns meters and faults into jobs and bills.

Choose Joblogic if…

  • You service more than copiers, for example HVAC, fire & security or M&E, and want one system for all of it.
  • You want AI-powered automatic scheduling and live GPS tracking of engineers.
  • You need purchase orders, PO approvals and full stock management with goods received notes.
  • Your accounts are in Sage, KashFlow or FreeAgent.
  • You prefer native iOS and Android apps and a vendor with a long track record.

Choose SubClik if…

  • Your work is photocopiers and printers, and meter readings drive your billing.
  • You want meters, toner levels and error codes collected from customers’ printers automatically.
  • You want service jobs to open themselves when a printer reports a fault.
  • You want click billing from those readings, with odd readings held for checking.
  • You use Xero or QuickBooks Online and want Direct Debit or card collection built in.

Strengths and differences

Where Joblogic is stronger

Switching from Joblogic

Most of the work is getting your customers, sites and machines in, and reading the printers. You can run both side by side while you check.

  1. Step 1

    Check your current term

Note when your current agreement ends and its notice period, so the switch lines up with it.

  2. Step 2

    Export and import

Export customers, sites and equipment as a spreadsheet. SubClik imports customers, sites and machines; we check the fields with you.

  3. Step 3

    Install the agent

Put the SubClik Agent on a PC at each customer site. Printers link to their machines by serial number.

  4. Step 4

    Go live

Engineers sign in on their phones, connect Xero or QuickBooks, and run your first billing from real readings.

Questions

Is SubClik an alternative to Joblogic for copier dealers?
For businesses whose work is photocopiers and printers, yes. SubClik is built around copier service: automatic meter readings, printer error codes, toner forecasts and click billing. Joblogic is a broader field service system for more than 30 trades, with strengths such as AI scheduling, GPS tracking, purchase orders and stock management.
Does Joblogic read copier meters automatically?
We could not find automatic meter readings from customers’ printers, printer monitoring or click billing on Joblogic’s public pages when we checked on 12 October 2026. Ask Joblogic directly if you need it, as public pages do not list everything.
Does SubClik have GPS tracking or AI scheduling?
No. SubClik records each step of the visit (accepted, travelling, on site, working, completed) with the time, and the office plans visits on a shared calendar by dragging them. If live GPS tracking or automatic scheduling matters most to you, Joblogic offers both.
Which accounting packages does each one work with?
SubClik works with Xero and QuickBooks Online; Sage Business Cloud is planned, and until then invoices can be exported as a CSV file or read through the API. Joblogic lists Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, KashFlow and FreeAgent.
How do the prices compare?
Joblogic publishes its Standard plan from £45 per user a month, billed annually, with Premium and Enterprise on request. SubClik Monitor is free for 10 printers, then from £0.60 a printer a month; the full SubClik platform is Solo £39, Team £149, Business £349 a month (excluding VAT), with no contract and office users free on Team and Business.
Can we move our data from Joblogic to SubClik?
Customers, sites and machines can be imported into SubClik from a spreadsheet. Tell us what you can export from your current system and we will check the fields with you before you start.
