Document library: service and parts manuals

Keep your service manuals, parts manuals, user guides and technical bulletins (PDF) in one private place. Engineers see the manuals for the machine's model on every job.

Where: Knowledge › Manuals library (engineer app: Solutions › Manuals)For Owners, admins, dispatchers, engineers

Step by step

  1. Open Knowledge › Manuals library (the page is called Library) and press + Add document at the top right. The Add a document panel opens.
  2. Choose the File (PDF) (PDF, Word, text or picture, up to 200 MB).
  3. Type a Title, choose the Type (Service manual, Parts manual, User guide, Technical bulletin or Other), and fill in the Make and the Models it covers. Notes (optional) is for anything else.
  4. Press Add to library. The document now shows on jobs for those models and in the engineer app under Solutions › Manuals.

Who can do what

The office (owner, admin, dispatcher) adds and removes documents. Engineers can open and read them.

Documents are stored privately for your firm. Each open uses a link that works for 10 minutes only, so a forwarded link stops working.

Finding a document

Search with Search: C450i, parts manual… and press Search. Click Open to read a document, or Delete to remove it.

Space

Your firm has library space shown by the bar at the top of the page (1 GB to start). Removing a document frees its space.

Tips

  • Use the full model list in Models (e.g. C250i, C300i, C360i): manuals usually cover a family.
  • Name files the way engineers search: make, model, manual type.

Ideas to try

  • Add the parts manual next to the service manual, so engineers can read part numbers while they are at the machine.

Questions

Can I put manufacturer manuals here?

Use documents your dealer agreement allows you to keep. They stay private to your firm; customers and other firms cannot see them.

The upload says there is not enough space.

Remove documents you no longer need, or ask SubClik support for more space.
