Step by step
- Open the job on the phone.
- Scroll to Solutions and manuals. The codes found on the job are listed at the top.
- Open a fix to read the steps with photos. Fixes made for this exact model are marked and come first.
- Open a manual: it opens as a PDF for 10 minutes, then the link expires for safety.
Tips
- If no fix shows, type the code into the job's fault description: the job picks it up straight away.
- Found a better way? Add it as a new solution so the next engineer gets it.
Questions
The section is empty. Why?
There is no code on the job and no manual for the machine's model yet. Add the code to the fault description, or add the manual in Knowledge › Manuals library.
Works together with
- Solutions: fixes for error codes and how-tosYour firm's own fixes for error codes (e.g. C-2557 on a C450i) and step-by-step how-tos (scan to email, scan to OneDrive). When a job has a matching code and model, the engineer sees the fix on the job automatically.
- Document library: service and parts manualsKeep your service manuals, parts manuals, user guides and technical bulletins (PDF) in one private place. Engineers see the manuals for the machine's model on every job.
- What fixed this beforeShows earlier jobs in your firm that fixed the same error code, with what was done and the parts used, so you bring the right part first time.
