Step by step
- iPhone: first add SubClik to the home screen (Share › Add to Home Screen) and open it from the new icon. Apple only allows notifications for apps on the home screen.
- Android or a computer: open SubClik in Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
- Tap Turn on on the Turn on notifications card, then Allow when the phone asks.
What you are told
Engineers: a job given to you (not one you took yourself), and messages from the office or the team.
Office: chat messages, and "Parts missing" when an engineer answers that they have not got the parts for a job.
Tapping a notification opens that job or conversation.
Turning them off
In the phone's settings for SubClik (iPhone: Settings › Notifications › SubClik; Android: long-press the notification).
Signing out takes the phone off your notifications, so the next person on a shared phone never sees your jobs.
Questions
I pressed Not now.
The card comes back after 14 days. To turn them on sooner, sign out and in again, or allow notifications in the phone's settings and open SubClik once.
Nothing arrives on my iPhone.
Check that you opened SubClik from the home-screen icon (not Safari) and that the iPhone has iOS 16.4 or newer.
Works together with
- The engineer app: My jobsThe phone app your engineers use all day: their open jobs, today's mileage and recently completed work. Jobs appear the moment the office assigns them.
- Sign out of the engineer appSign out at the top right. If changes made without signal have not reached the office yet, you are warned first, and they stay safe on the phone.
