Step by step
- Open Administration › Integrations, click the API tab and find API keys.
- Type a Name (e.g. Billing system) and press Create API key.
- Copy the key straight away from Your new key (shown only now):. It starts with
ssk_and is never shown again. - Give it to the program, which sends it in the header
Authorization: Bearer ssk_….
The list
Each key shows its name, the first characters, Active or Revoked, when it was created and when it was last used (or "not used yet").
Rules
Keys are read only. At most 10 active keys per firm. At most 600 requests a minute per key.
Questions
I lost a key.
Revoke it and create a new one. Keys cannot be shown again.
Can a key change or delete data?
No. Keys can only read printers, readings and printer events.
