Office portal: the menu
The menu on the left has Service desk at the top (today's work) and then sections that fold open and closed. Click a section name to open or close it; the section with the page you are on opens by itself, and SubClik remembers which ones you left open.
Jobs & planning: Jobs, Calendar, Planned maintenance, Quotes, Chat and Automation.
Customers & machines: Customers, Machines, Meters & toner, Printers & agents and Move your data in.
Finance: Contracts, Contract billing and Invoices (owners and admins), and Reports.
Parts & vans: Parts & services, Stock and Vans & vehicles.
Knowledge: Solutions and Manuals library.
Team: Engineers & team and Activity.
Administration (owners and admins): Settings, Modules, Integrations, Setup guide, Usage & plan and Audit log.
Help centre is at the bottom of the menu. Pages of modules you have switched off are hidden.
The top of the page
On a computer, the top right of every office page has a search box (Search jobs, customers, machines…) and the bell. The bell shows a number when something needs the office: click it for the Needs attention list.
On a phone
A bar at the bottom of the screen holds the places you use all day: Desk, Jobs, Customers, Chat and Menu. Menu opens the full menu with the same sections in large print.
The top bar has the bell and + New job, which opens Log a call.
Engineer app
Engineers open www.subclik.co.uk on their phone and sign in. They see only the jobs assigned to them, with the site, contact, machine and directions, and work through each job step by step: accept, travel, arrive, work, complete with a signature.
It works offline: anything done without signal is saved on the phone and sent when the signal is back.
Customer portal and links
Customers you invite can sign in to see their machines, service calls and invoices, report a fault and order toner.
Without an account, customers can still use the links you send: approve a quote, send meter readings, or report a fault by scanning the QR label on a machine.
The ⓘ icons
Next to most page and section titles there is a small i. Press it for a short explanation of what the screen is for, how to use it and what it works with, plus a link to the full guide here in Help.
Questions
Can one person be both office and engineer?
Yes. An owner or admin who also does jobs sees My jobs as engineer in the menu when jobs are assigned to them.
Does the engineer app need installing?
No. It runs in the phone's browser. On most phones you can add it to the home screen to open it like an app.
I belong to two firms. How do I switch?
At the bottom left of the menu, choose the firm in the list and press Switch.
