While it is a draft
A line at the top says what is next: add the lines, then Finalise quote.
The lines table has an add row (catalogue picker, Qty, Unit, Price (blank = catalogue) and VAT % if you are VAT registered) and a Remove link on each line.
Toolbar at the top right: Delete draft, Edit details (a side panel with title, valid until and notes) and Finalise quote.
After it is sent
The lines are locked. The Customer approval card shows the valid until date and the Approval link, with Copy link and Open as the client sees it.
Toolbar: Withdraw, New version and Record answer (a side panel to record an answer given by phone or email).
Once answered, a card titled Accepted or Declined shows who answered, when, and whether it was by the online link or recorded by the office.
After it is accepted
Owners and admins see Turn into a contract in the toolbar. It opens New contract with the customer and the clear amounts filled in. See "Turn an accepted quote into a contract".
Once the contract exists, the Accepted card says Contract … created from this quote with a link to it, and the button is gone.
Versions
If a quote has more than one version, the links v1, v2, … appear under the title. Click one to open that version.
