Step by step
- Open the draft quote and check the lines and totals.
- Press Finalise quote at the top right and confirm with Yes, finalise (it locks the lines; changes need a new version).
- The message "Quote ready to send. Copy the approval link below and email it to the client." appears, and the status changes to Awaiting answer.
- In the Customer approval card, press Copy link.
- Paste the link into an email or message to the customer. The card shows the company's billing email as a reminder of where to send it.
What finalising does
Gives the quote the next number from Settings (version 1), or keeps the number for a new version.
Sets the valid until date if you did not set one.
Locks the lines, details and notes.
If this is a new version, the older version is marked Replaced and its link shows "replaced by a newer version".
If it is blocked
"add at least one line" means the quote is empty.
Questions
Does the customer get an email from SubClik?
No. You send the link yourself. This lets you add a personal message.
Can I look at the page before sending it?
After finalising, click Open as the client sees it. The link only works once the quote is finalised.

- Change the title, validity or notes of a quoteWhile a quote is a draft you can change its title, how long it is valid and the notes the customer reads.
