Step by step
- The customer opens Meter readings (or Send readings on a machine card).
- For each machine, grouped by site, they type the counters. Each box shows the last reading and its date. Boxes left empty are not sent.
- They check Date the counters were read (today by default, at most a month back) and press Send readings.
- They see how many were saved and how many will be checked. Sent recently lists each reading as Saved, Being checked or Not used.
For the office
Readings that look wrong (lower than the last one, higher than a later one, unchanged for 14 days or more, or much higher than usual) are held in Meters & toner › To check with the sender's name and "(customer portal)". Save or reject them there.
If you had sent the customer a reading request link that is still open, readings from the portal count towards it, and the request completes when every meter is in.
The same figure sent twice within a day is only saved once.
