Print QR labels

Print QR fault-report labels on standard A4 sheets of 21 (63.5 × 38.1 mm, like L7160): for one machine, a whole site, or every active machine.

Where: Machines › Print QR labelsFor Owners, admins, dispatchers

Step by step

  1. Choose what to print: Machines › Print QR labels (every active machine), a customer's site › Print QR labels for this site, or a machine › QR label › Print.
  2. The labels page opens in a new tab. The top says how many labels there are.
  3. Load an A4 sheet of 21 labels (3 × 7, 63.5 × 38.1 mm, for example L7160).
  4. Tap Print. In the print dialog choose 100% / actual size and no margins scaling.

On each label

The QR code, "Fault? Scan to report it", your firm's name and phone, the machine make and model, serial number and asset tag.

Rules

Only office users can print labels. Archived machines are left out.

At most 210 labels (ten sheets) at a time. With more machines you see "Showing the first 210; print by site for more."

A part-used sheet: add ?skip=5 (or &skip=5) to the page address to leave the first 5 labels blank, up to 20.

Replacing a label

On the machine's QR label card, open Replace the label, tick that the old label will stop working and tap Make a new label. Then print the new one.

Tips

  • Do a test print on plain paper and hold it against a label sheet before using the real sheets.
  • Fill in your company phone number first: it is printed on every label.

Ideas to try

  • Print a site's labels before an install day and stick them on as each machine goes in.

Questions

The labels do not line up.

Print at 100% / actual size, not "fit to page", and check the sheet is the 21-per-sheet 63.5 × 38.1 mm type.

Can I use other label sizes?

The page is laid out for 21 per A4 sheet only.

What happens when someone scans it?

They get the fault report page for that machine. See "Fault report by QR label".
