Set a client company's rates

Tell the system what you charge a client company for call-out, labour and travel, so every job for them is priced the same way.

  7. Check the Example: line, then press Save.

The worked example

Under the rates you see what a typical visit would cost: 1h 40 on site, 45 min travel and 20 miles, ex VAT. It updates as you type, so you can check the numbers match your agreement before saving. Parts are added on top.

Empty fields

Firm default (or an empty box) uses the default from Administration › Settings › Service defaults.

Old jobs

Jobs keep the rates from when they were logged. To change the rates on one job, do it on the job page.

Ideas to try

  • Agree a call-out that includes the first hour and travel with each client: one simple price makes invoicing and disputes much easier.
