Waiting for approval
A job SubClik opened by itself (printer fault or planned maintenance) that waits for the office shows an amber box at the top: choose an Engineer and press Approve, or type a reason and press Dismiss. See "Approve or dismiss jobs SubClik opened".
Tabs
Overview: changes from the engineer's phone that were not applied (if any), Complete on behalf of engineer, Customer and machine, What fixed this before, Access at the site (delivery jobs), the checklist, and Fault and work done.
Work & parts: Time, travel and parts (travel, labour and distance totals, time entries, mileage, parts) and Meter readings on this visit. An amber dot means a chargeable part has no price.
Files: photos, documents and the signature.
History: the timeline of everything that happened, and notes.
The right-hand column
Next action, Dispatch (engineer, planned visit, SLA, priority), Charges & approval, Client rates on this job (freelance jobs), Job sheet and Cancel job.
Live updates and locking
The page refreshes by itself when the engineer changes the job, adds time, parts, mileage, photos or readings.
Once a job is invoiced or cancelled it is locked: fields are greyed out and the Dispatch card says the job can no longer be changed. An invoiced job is corrected with a credit note.
Questions
Can the engineer see my changes?
Yes, straight away. Dispatch, fault details and notes all show in the engineer app.
Who can see the charges and rates?
Everyone in the office sees the charges. Only owners and admins can change rates and cost limits or create invoices.
Why are the fields greyed out?
The job is invoiced or cancelled. Invoiced jobs can only be corrected with a credit note.
What is “What fixed this before”?
Earlier jobs with the same error code on the same model and what fixed them. It helps you and the engineer prepare.
Where do I see the machine's other jobs?
Press Machine history.
