See what the job will bill before you invoice it: call-out, labour, travel, mileage, parts and access, what is covered by a contract or a free callback, the client's cost limit and quotes.

Where: Job page › Charges & approvalFor Owners, admins, dispatchers

The lines

Each chargeable item with its quantity and amount. Lines covered by a contract (“in contract”) or a free callback (“free callback”) are struck through and not added up.

Invoiced marks lines already on an invoice. no price in amber means an item still needs a price.

To charge (ex VAT) is the total of what will be billed.

“Nothing to charge yet” until time, mileage or parts are recorded.

Cost limit

If the client has a cost limit, the card shows it and any amount the client has approved above it. When the total goes over, it says “Over the limit: get the client's OK before invoicing.” See “Cost limit and client approval”.

Questions

Why is the labour charged for more minutes than worked?

Labour is charged per block (for example per started 15 minutes) with a minimum, and the call-out may include some time. The Client rates on this job card shows minutes worked and minutes charged.

Why is call-out struck through?

The job's contract covers it, or it is a free callback.
