Step by step
- Open a Completed or Reviewed job.
- Owners and admins: press Create invoice. A draft invoice is made with the job's chargeable lines; the job then links to On draft invoice.
- Or press Invoiced elsewhere to mark the job Invoiced without making an invoice in SubClik.
What can stop an invoice
Rates not confirmed: “confirm the rates on job #… first”.
Items without a price: “set a price for: … (job #…)”.
Over the cost limit without approval: “… over the approved limit of …. Record the client's approval first.”
Nothing left to bill: “nothing left to invoice on the chosen job(s): already billed, covered by contract or a free callback”.
After invoicing
The job is locked. Corrections need a credit note. Create invoice stays available on invoiced jobs (as a secondary button) for anything not yet billed.
