Step by step
- Open Administration › Settings and click the Service defaults tab.
- Enter Call-out, Labour / h, Travel / h and Per mile (or Per km).
- Choose Round labour up to, Minimum labour (minutes) and Charge travel by.
- Fill in the delivery access charges, Cost limit without approval and Callback window (days), then press Save service defaults.
- Click SLA & working hours, choose SLA is met when, set Default SLA (hours), your Working days, Day starts and Day ends, and press Save SLA settings.
Defaults versus customer rates
These are your firm-wide defaults. A customer with its own rates or SLA on its page uses those instead: "Rates on the company page take priority."
Only new jobs change
Jobs already logged keep their charges and their SLA deadline. Saving SLA settings shows "SLA and working hours saved. New jobs use them; existing deadlines are not changed."
Questions
We don't charge for travel. What do I set?
Set Charge travel by to Not charged.
One customer has a 4-hour SLA, the rest 8 hours.
Set Default SLA (hours) to 8 here and give that customer 4 hours on its own page.
