About the bank holidays
Add all adds the England and Wales bank holidays: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, the Early May, Spring and Summer bank holidays, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, with substitute days when they fall at the weekend.
Dates already on the list are skipped. One-off extra holidays (e.g. a coronation) are not included: "Check them against gov.uk: one-off changes are not included."
In Scotland or Northern Ireland, remove the days you work and add your own.
What you see
The list shows days from a month ago onwards. Older days stay saved but are hidden.
Adding the same date twice gives "That date is already on the list."
Tips
- Add next year's bank holidays each December so January deadlines are right.
Questions
Do days off stop engineers being booked?
No. Days off only stop the SLA clock. You can still plan jobs on those days.
Does this change deadlines of open jobs?
No. Only jobs logged after the change use the new list.
