Stop using a job type

Hide a job type from new jobs without losing it from old ones.

Where: Administration › Settings › Job types › Stop usingFor Owners, admins

Step by step

Open Administration › Settings › Job types →.
Press Stop using on the job type's row (or press Edit, tick Stop using (hide from Log a call) and Save).
It moves to Not used (N) at the bottom.
To use it again, open Not used and press Use again.

Job types: checklists and fixed pricesThe kinds of work your firm does (repair, maintenance, installation, delivery, collection, PaperCut, firmware…). Each type can have its own engineer checklist, a fixed charge, a usual duration, and can require a machine or ask for access details.
Change a job typeRename a job type or change its category, charge, duration, order, checklist or the machine and access options.
