Step by step
- Install an authenticator app on your phone (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password or the iPhone Passwords app).
- Sign in. The Two-step sign-in page opens.
- On the phone: tap Add to authenticator app, or tap Copy setup key and paste the key into your app ("Enter a setup key").
- On a computer: scan the QR code with the phone's authenticator app.
- Come back to the page (don't refresh it) and type the 6-digit Code the app shows.
- Press Turn on and continue. You go to your home screen.
If the page reloads
On a phone the page may reload while you are in the authenticator app. SubClik keeps the same set-up in that browser tab, so the code from the app still matches.
Tips
- 1Password or Microsoft Authenticator can back up your codes, which helps if you change phone.
Works together with
- Two-step sign-inA 6-digit code, sent to your email or shown by an authenticator app, asked for after your password. It protects owner and admin accounts, which can see invoices, bank details and every customer, if a password leaks.
- Enter your two-step codeAfter your password, type the 6-digit code from your email or your authenticator app.
- Require two-step sign-in for owners and adminsMake every owner and admin of your firm enter a 6-digit code (by email or from an authenticator app) when they sign in, so a leaked password alone cannot open invoices, bank details and every customer.
