Step by step
- Go to Parts & vans › Parts & services and press + Add part or service at the top right. The Add part or service page opens.
- Choose the Type: Part, Consumable (toner, drum, staples…) or Service (call-out, labour, travel…).
- For a service, choose the Service (Call-out, Labour, Travel time, Mileage, Installation, …). For a part, enter a Category such as Toner or Fuser.
- Enter the Name (required) and your SKU (optional, must be unique).
- For parts: add Manufacturer part number, Manufacturer and Fits models.
- Choose the Unit, enter Selling price (£, ex VAT) and, if it differs from the firm default, VAT rate %.
- Owners and admins: enter Cost price and Supplier.
- Press Add to catalogue. You see "Item added to the catalogue."
If it is refused
"Another item already uses that SKU." Choose a different SKU, or edit the existing item.
Tips
- Put the models it fits (e.g. C300i, C450i) so engineers see it first on those machines.
- SKUs are saved in capitals.
