Switch off a part (inactive)

Stop an item being picked on new jobs while keeping it on old jobs and in reports.

Where: Parts & vans › Parts & services › (item) › DetailsFor Owners, admins, dispatchers

Step by step

Open the item.
Untick Active (can be picked on jobs).
Press Save item.

Afterwards

The item disappears from the price list, the stock forms and the job pickers. Tick Show inactive on the price list to find it again, and tick Active (can be picked on jobs) to bring it back.

Delete a partRemove an item that was added by mistake and never used on a job.
Change a part's price or detailsEdit the name, price, VAT, models it fits or other details of a catalogue item.
