What is on it
The subtitle shows how many job lines used this item. Editing does not change jobs already recorded.
For parts and consumables: the Stock card (quantity in each store and van; negative in red), and two buttons at the top right that open side panels: + Book in (a delivery: quantity, Into, supplier and delivery note / PO) and Move stock (quantity, From and To, then Move).
Details: the same fields as when you added it, plus Active (can be picked on jobs).
Owners and admins also see Delete item at the bottom.
Questions
Why is there no stock box?
Services have no stock, so the stock boxes only show for parts and consumables.
Can I see who used it?
Open Parts & vans › Stock, tab Movements: it shows each use with a link to the job.
Works together with
- Change a part's price or detailsEdit the name, price, VAT, models it fits or other details of a catalogue item.
- Book in a deliveryAdd parts you received to a store or van, with the supplier and delivery note.
- Move stock to a van or another storeTransfer parts from one location to another, for example from the main store into an engineer's van.
