Questions
It says Open SubClik Agent from the Start menu. Why?
The window can only be opened by an administrator of the computer. Start it from Start › SubClik Agent as an administrator.
Can I change settings in the portal instead?
Yes. Names, extra ranges, communities, read hour and status checks are also in Printers & agents › Agents › Settings and actions. The agent picks them up at its next contact.
Works together with
- Install the SubClik Agent on a Windows PCInstall the Agent on one always-on Windows computer in the same network as the printers, enter the pairing code and scan. It runs as a Windows service and needs no one signed in.
- Add a printer by IP address (in the Agent)When the agent does not find a printer by itself, add it by its IP address in the Agent window. It is then read on every scan.
- Add a printer to the portal from the Agent windowAn installer on site can add a printer the agent found as a machine of this customer straight from the Agent window, without the office.
- Disconnect or re-pair an Agent on the PCDisconnect an agent from the portal on the customer's computer, or connect it with a different pairing code.
- Agent settings: name, networks, communities, read timeChange an agent's name, extra network ranges, SNMP communities, the hour of the daily meter read and how often status is checked, from the office.
