Step by step
- Create a pairing code for the customer and site (+ Add agent). The panel also shows the silent install command.
- Send IT the Setup file and the command:
SubClik-Agent-Setup.exe /S /CODE=XXXX-XXXX(replace the code). - Optionally they add
/SERVER=https://www.subsense.appif your portal uses another address. - With
/CODEthe agent is installed and paired in one go. Without it, the settings window opens the next time someone starts SubClik Agent so the code can be entered. - Check the Agents tab of Printers & agents: the agent changes from Not installed to Online and printers appear after its first scan.
Command line (other systems and advanced use)
The agent program itself also accepts install --code XXXX-XXXX, status, scan (look only, nothing sent), send-now, uninstall and version.
Works together with
- Install the SubClik Agent on a Windows PCInstall the Agent on one always-on Windows computer in the same network as the printers, enter the pairing code and scan. It runs as a Windows service and needs no one signed in.
- Agent for Linux, Raspberry Pi and macOSBesides Windows, the agent runs on Linux (64-bit and ARM, e.g. a Raspberry Pi) and macOS. Download it from Other systems.
- Add an agent (create a pairing code)Create a pairing code for a customer and site. The code connects one Agent or SubClik Box to that customer; it works once and is valid for 7 days.
