Step by step
- Open the completed job.
- Click Return to fit.
- Type why another visit is needed (the engineer sees this).
- Press Send back to the engineer. You see “Returned to the engineer. They need to accept it again.”
What happens
The job goes back to Assigned with the same engineer. It shows Returned to fit in the service desk Attention list until it moves on.
Only completed jobs can be returned (“Only completed jobs can be returned to the engineer.”). For a reviewed job use Reopen.
Works together with
- Reopen a reviewed jobReopen a job you already closed when the work turns out not to be finished. A reason is required and the engineer sees it.
- Review and close a completed jobWhen the engineer completes a job, the office checks it and presses Close job. The job becomes Reviewed and is ready to invoice.
