Step by step
- Open Customers & machines › Printers & agents and press Fleet audit (print). If you filtered Printers & agents to one customer, the audit opens for that customer.
- Choose the Customer and, if you like, one Site (All sites covers every site). Press Update.
- Check the tiles and the tables. Printers read for less than a few days show collecting data.
- Press Print at the top right, or save it as a PDF from the print window, and give it to the customer.
- ← Printers & agents takes you back.
Tips
- Leave the agent running for two to four weeks before printing the audit, so the monthly volumes are reliable.
- Hide printers that are not relevant (e.g. a personal desktop printer) on Printers & agents first: hidden printers are left out.
Works together with
- Fleet audit: volume and cost per pageThe fleet audit (print audit) lists every printer the agent found at a customer with its monthly volume (from the daily counters) and an estimated cost per page, and flags printers that cost too much or are hardly used.
- Printers & agents: printer monitoringPrinters & agents is where you connect your customers' printers to SubClik. A small Agent on one PC (or a SubClik Box) at the customer finds every printer and sends meters, toner, error codes and jams here every day.
- Hide a printer that is not yours (and show it again)Hide printers the agent found that you do not look after (e.g. a desktop inkjet). Hidden printers do not count, send no readings and do not count towards your plan.
- Install the SubClik Agent on a Windows PCInstall the Agent on one always-on Windows computer in the same network as the printers, enter the pairing code and scan. It runs as a Windows service and needs no one signed in.
