Planned maintenance

A service visit every so many days and/or copies, per machine. The job opens by itself early each morning when due, and completing it starts the next interval.

Where: Jobs & planning › Planned maintenance (+ Add schedule); Machine › Overview › Planned maintenanceFor Owners, admins, dispatchers

Step by step

  1. Go to Jobs & planning › Planned maintenance and press + Add schedule.
  2. Under Which machines choose One machine, A customer's machines (every machine at their sites) or All contract machines (every machine on an active contract). Machines that already have an active visit with the same name are skipped, so nothing is doubled.
  3. Give the visit a Visit name, set Every (days) and/or Every (copies), and optionally a Job type (optional), an Engineer (optional) and the Last visit (optional). Press Add schedule.
  4. Due now shows what is due; press Open … jobs now if you don't want to wait for the morning. All schedules lists every schedule with Every, Last visit, Next by date and Status (Due, Scheduled or Paused); press Edit on a row to change it, pause it or remove it.
  5. You can also add or change a schedule for a single machine on the machine's page, Overview tab, card Planned maintenance.

How it decides

By days: from the last visit (or from when the schedule was made).

By copies: the machine's meters added up, from the reading at the last visit (or when the schedule was made).

No new job while the machine already has an open job (Job already open). Completing the job records the date and the copies, and the next interval starts.

Approval

If Jobs & planning › Automation requires the office to approve jobs SubClik opens (on by default), a planned maintenance job waits under To approve on the service desk, with the schedule's engineer suggested. Approve it to send it out, or dismiss it.

Tips

  • Use copies for busy machines and days for quiet ones; you can set both and whichever comes first opens the job.
