The printer page

Everything the agent knows about one printer: status and current errors, problem counts, toner forecast, error history, daily counters, readings sent to the machine and the device's own details.

Where: Customers & machines › Printers & agents › Printers tab › click a printerFor Owners, admins, dispatchers

Status

The printer's state, panel text and when it was last read. A red box The printer is in error now shows the error codes and since when.

Problems in the last … days: paper jams, service calls, toner and waste counts, plus Time in error. A chart shows them per day and a table lists every Error code with how often and when last.

Some printers (e.g. Konica Minolta) also report their own lifetime jam and service-call counters.

Needs attention now: open problems and open covers. Toner, ink and parts with the forecast of days left.

Facts like uptime, printer clock, memory and firmware, then the Error and warning history.

Ask the agent: Read now, Printer report, Agent log, with the state of each request.

Paper trays with their level.

Other cards

Counters by day: the daily counter history.

Readings sent to the machine: each daily reading and whether it was Saved, To check or Rejected.

Device: serial number, IP and MAC address, network name, location, firmware, first seen and how the counters were read.

Machine: the linked machine, with Unlink. If the printer reports a different serial number than the machine record, it warns you.

Latest counters and Raw values from the printer (to check a counter against the printer's own counter page).

Questions

The counters here differ from the printer's own counter page. Why?

Open Raw values from the printer and compare. Some makes report parts only; SubClik works out the rest (e.g. mono = copy + print). Tell SubClik support which value is wrong.

Can engineers see this?

Engineers see the same status, toner and error history (in short) on their job for a monitored machine.
