Step by step
- Open the job. Parts for this job lists each part; Ordered for this visit marks parts ordered for this return visit.
- Press Yes, on the van if you have them, or No, not got them, say what is missing (optional) and press Tell the office.
- Then accept the job as usual, or wait for the office to sort the parts.
What the office sees
"Not got them" shows on the office's bell and under Needs attention on the service desk, and in red on the job page with your note, until you change your answer or the job is sent out again.
Your answer is also written in the job's history.
Without signal
The answer is saved on the phone ("Waiting for signal to send") and reaches the office as soon as you have signal, with the time you gave it.
Tips
- Answer before you set off: the office can still swap the job or send the part with someone else.
Works together with

- Your car or van stockThe Stock tab lists the parts and consumables the office has booked into your car or van, with low-stock warnings and the last 20 movements.
- Working offline (no signal)The engineer app keeps working without signal. Your open jobs are saved on the phone, and what you do is kept with the real time and sent to the office automatically when signal returns.
