What you see
The name of your stock location (for example "Dave's van") and every item with its quantity and code.
A number in amber with Low means it is at or below the minimum the office set. A red number below zero means more was used on jobs than was booked in: tell the office.
Recent: the last 20 movements, with the job number for parts used on a job. Green is stock in, red is stock out.
How it changes
Parts you add to a job from the catalogue come off this list automatically. Removing a part from a job puts it back. Customer-supplied parts and parts "to order" do not change it.
The office books stock in, moves it between the store and vans, and corrects counts. You cannot change counts from the phone.
Empty pages
"No car stock yet": the office has not opened your van stock yet (they do it on your page under Team › Engineers & team, tab Van stock, or in Stock).
"Your car stock is empty": nothing has been moved to your car yet.
Tips
- Check the Low items before the weekend so the office can top you up.
- If a count is wrong, tell the office straight away; wrong counts lead to wasted trips.
Ideas to try
- Ask the office to set a minimum on fast movers (toners, fuser films, pick-up rollers) so Low warns you in time.
Questions
Why is a number negative?
Parts were added to jobs that were never booked into your van. The office should correct the stock.
Can I move stock to another engineer?
Not from the phone. Ask the office to make the transfer.
Do I see prices?
No. Engineers see items and quantities only.
